The Testing Methodology
We tested Bluehost, Hostinger, SiteGround, DreamHost, A2 Hosting, GoDaddy, and Namecheap. Each host received an identical WordPress installation with the same theme, plugins, and content. We ran benchmarks from 5 global locations every 6 hours for 90 days.
Benchmark 1: Time to First Byte (TTFB)
TTFB measures how long it takes for the server to respond to a request. Lower is better.
